I’m poking about trying to think what needs doing next, and failing to think very well! Not intending to look like I haven’t been around. Not intending to look like I haven’t been thinking about issues, or not poking at things; just kind of frustrated and tired. My mom slipped this last weekend, fell and badly bruised her knees. No broken bits, thank goodness, but it does change routines round here. Work and finances have been kicking me about lately, which is also distracting.
Escapism, FTW! Yay!
I understand GJ will be finishing on nano and is wanting to come back and work on this; not sure when kiya will be done with classes etc. for awhile; I’d like to tackle Bug battle with their help, if possible, but I think we can creep up on it and what it might look like by divers other means.
Something like the outline structure for working out resources and what kidn of numbers we’re talkign about and what kind of artillery we’re talking about would all help.
Also, nothing to stop us from showing multiple different sorts of encounters. Skirmish of the shotguns in dense woods is quite different from sneaking through minefields.
Wise guerillas pick situations that show their bugs at their weakest; so some brainstorming on where and how the bugs are vulnerable would be great.
I’m thinking that we were thinking of a convo with Emma earlier, doing an analysis of bug parts and how their break; talking to Cesar and Aaron and examining them would be very interesting–but first they have to trust her that far. What would induce them to do that?
